I’m 34 years old and I’m still figuring out what I want to do with the rest of my life. In the meantime, I teach English – this is what pays the bills.
Luckily, I also love it.
When I started, this teaching gig was supposed to be just a summer job after school, but it just kept on being fun! Over the past eighteen years, I’ve also taught Speech & Drama, History and Sex Ed.
I have four dogs, but I believe I’m still a long while away from becoming crazy dog lady – which is not my big life goal by the way.
I also enjoy baking and writing – these things do not pay the bills.
My big life goal is to travel to all the places on my list, and then end up on a farm somewhere far away from any city, near a water body of some kind – this is a deal-breaker – eating freshly baked bread every morning, with eggs laid by my own chicken and drinking coffee made with milk from own cows; writing stories about curious children for curiouser children; and where the only sounds I can hear are the animals and plants – I know – I’ll be Crazy Farmer Lady!
Or, you know, just Crazy Farmer.
